The Quality Assurance Technician is capable to support driving the leading indicators to meet the key Quality metric that is aligned to the quality performance objective of the supported manufacturing business segments, assembly, and sub-assembly business units for product and parts. Specifically, the position shall evaluate line issues, address costumer complaints and compliance to processes.
Essential Job Skills/Duties
• Handles non-conforming products using defined control processes
• Verifies and validates effectiveness of corrective actions
• Performs defect verification from internal/external quality issues
• Conducts inspections (radiographic, sampling, QA testing)
• Implements and maintains containment actions for quality issues
• Supports continuous improvement and test method enhancements
• Validates changes to reduce risks in processes (change management)
• Assists in qualification audits for products and parts
• Collects samples for failure and statistical analysis
• Supports spec development and works with QA/Engineers on issue resolution

Required Education & Experience
• Graduate/undergraduate of an Engineering course or at least diploma course in Electronics or of any Technical or Vocational course or equivalent to a relevant work experience
Preferred Education & Experience
• Preferably with Industrial experience of at least 2 years of relevant work experience in mobile device repair or in similar manufacturing set up.
• Lean or Six Sigma exposure.
Supervisory Responsibilities
• No direct reports; may train peers.
