Job Description
- Drive the Adhesives sub‑category strategy, ensuring cross‑functional alignment with Procurement, R&D, Operations, PM, and Plant Management.
- Lead supplier negotiations, manage sourcing events, and oversee supplier performance and governance activities.
- Build and expand a robust supplier network, eliminate single‑sourcing risks, and support material and supplier standardization across all plants.
- Manage and continuously improve the material qualification pipeline, resolving technical roadblocks, mitigating supply risks, and incorporating sustainability and innovation priorities.
- Identify and realize savings opportunities, support post‑integration activities, and ensure the effective deployment of CFLEX Procurement standards in all relevant sites.
- Master’s degree in Procurement or Chemical/Materials Engineering.
- Min. 5 years of relevant experience in similar position, ideally in flexible packaging.
- Strong leadership, resilience, and a collaborative mindset with a high sense of ownership.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships in a matrix environment.Passionate about innovation and packaging trends;
- Fluent in English and open to occasional travel (10–20%).

- Hours: Fulltime (38.5 h/w)
- Compensation: depending on the job-related experience & competencies, ~ 80.000 EUR gross a year (based on the collective bargain agreement of the metal industry if located in Vienna/Austria).
