Job Description

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Helping Hands Moreton Downs, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 20 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. 

You'll work Monday to Friday in split shifts across our programs:

  • Rise then Shine Program – Morning shifts (6:30am – 8:45am)
  • Stay and Play Program – Afternoon shifts (3:00pm – 6:00pm)
  • Holiday HQ Program – Extra hours available during school holidays (6:30am – 6:00pm)

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! 
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents 
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).

  • Have (or are willing to get) a Working with Children Check & National Police Check.
  • Have Australian work rights.
