Meet the team:
Reporting to the Head of Software, the Senior Director of Software Engineering for Consumer Applications will lead Dexcom’s consumer software application portfolio, driving the strategy, development, delivery, and lifecycle management of customer-facing digital products and services.
As part of Dexcom’s evolving Product Operating Model, this role will build and lead high-performing cross-functional software teams with clear ownership of product outcomes, software quality, reliability, and delivery execution.
Where you come in:
You will develop scalable organizational structures and engineering capabilities aligned to a Product Operating Model
You will lead engineering teams operating within a Product Operating Model with end-to-end ownership and accountability for customer outcomes
You will drive modern engineering practices including CI/CD pipelines, AI-Assisted development workflows, automated testing, integrated quality engineering, and reliable software delivery at scale
You will partner with architecture and platform leaders to incorporate modern cloud, data, and AI-enabled capabilities into future product experiences
What makes you successful:
You have extensive experience leading large-scale software engineering organizations delivering consumer software products
You have deep expertise across mobile applications, cloud-native architectures, APIs, digital ecosystems, and modern software delivery practices
You have demonstrated success delivering highly available, high-quality software to large user populations
You have experience integrating AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics into customer-facing products or engineering workflows

Travel Required: 15-25%
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 17+ years of industry experience
- Requires a degree in a technical discipline
- 13+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry

Salary:
$220,100.00 - $366,800.00
