The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and scheduling various tasks to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery. You will play a vital role in aligning our digital workflow with the physical production on the floor.
Duties and Responsibilities
Unless otherwise specified, the Production Planner responsibility includes, but is not limited to, a dedication to the company’s mission statement, to company profitability and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the planning team to align resources and meet production targets.• Track project lifecycles to ensure they finish on time and remain within budget.• Work across the organization to ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy; create BOMs based on specific truck configurations and options.• Organize BOMs in accordance with production routes and perform on-site work center evaluations to verify route feasibility.• Ensure all project-related documents and technical specifications are prepared and completed as required.• Communicate effectively to facilitate cooperation between engineering, procurement, and the shop floor.• Update SharePoint and the ERP system daily with project changes to ensure real-time communication across all departments.
Qualifications
• Prior experience as a production planner within a manufacturing environment.• Proficient working knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, and ERP systems.• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach; able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.• Exceptional focus on accuracy, planning, and meeting strict deadlines.• Proven ability to develop and maintain successful internal and external working relationships with a "team player" attitude.• Must have reliable transportation to the Hillsboro facility.
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).• Experience in a manufacturing environment (strongly preferred
