Job Description
The banquet bartender will be responsible for providing efficient, friendly service for functions in the banquets department of the hotel.
Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
Familiarity with wines, beers, and cocktails that may be served for banquet events as well as the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.
Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartender’s manual.
Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow side work sheet.
Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails outlines on Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s)
Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
Have excellent customer service.
Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Two years bartending experience.
Some wine knowledge.
Pleasant personality.
Excellent communication skills.
