Accountability:

  • Ensure wireless communication systems are designed and delivered to meet operational, safety, reliability, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver telecom engineering solutions that achieve required network coverage, capacity, availability, and performance targets for client operations.
  • Maintain the technical integrity, quality, and compliance of all telecom engineering deliverables, ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and company procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and governance for telecom engineering activities, resolving complex technical issues and supporting informed project decision-making.
  • Ensure effective integration of telecom systems with other engineering disciplines and facility infrastructure to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Drive successful project execution by managing telecom engineering scope, supporting schedule commitments, controlling technical risks, and minimizing design-related rework.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and ensure alignment on technical requirements.
  • Contribute to project profitability and commercial success through sound engineering judgement, accurate technical evaluations, and effective support of cost estimation and procurement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Minimum 14-16 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in radio communication engineering.
  • Strong expertise in wireless systems, RF planning, and telecom networks (TETRA, microwave, SCADA, IP).
  • Proven experience in oil & gas or industrial environments (Aramco experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of RF tools, network technologies, and system integration.
  • Professional certifications (PE, IEEE, RF tools) are advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
