Job Purpose:
This position will partner with the retirement wholesaling team, along with product, and implementation teams to provide support for pre- and post-sale activities. This position will work closely with external and internal wholesalers to enhance distribution through financial advisors, TPA’s, DCIO’s and other centers of influence. This position will collaborate with wholesaling teams and implementation teams to recognize trends, resolve systematic issues, and drive improvements.
In addition this position will help manage day-to-day activities of the wholesaling team; these include responding to RFP’s, being secondary for all inbound phone lines, email requests, and assisting in the building of territory sales strategies. This position will also act as a catalyst to drive sales growth and meet necessary sales targets for retirement sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and enhance positive business relationships with financial advisors, serving as a resource for sales support for all territories.
- Provides inbound telephone support, including answering proposal, pricing and implementation questions; creating and following up on requests for information and proposals; and providing timely responses to problems encountered in each wholesaler territory.
- Provide outbound telephone support; including consulting on the proposals, pricing and plan design. Help develop and share ideas with consultants and advisors that increase sales. Document activity in contact management system.
- Serves as a problem solver for advisors and wholesalers on product, pricing and implementation issues and maintain a strong knowledge of available resources.
- Build and maintain a strong product knowledge, including industry and competitor information. Maintain a strong knowledge of retirement’s product offering. Maintain a solid understanding of back-office processes for broker dealer operations and service areas.
- As needed, provide support to the wholesaling team by helping to conduct Zoom presentations and Client and Conference events, when appropriate.
- Create, prioritize and guide teams strategy and roadmap for data analytics, CRM/Salesforce, and technology enhancements.
- Represent sales leadership in cross-functional team meetings.

Job Requirements:
List of general education, background and experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities typically required to effectively perform the responsibilities of the job. Also include any required licenses and/or designations.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or related trade-off in work experience.
- Strong knowledge of investments and/or retirement plans.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exercise sound judgement and solid decision making for allocating company resources for business development.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and perform under pressure.
- Ability to spend significant portion of job developing relationships over the phone.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of office automation tools.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FINRA SIE, 6, 63 and state life insurance preferred.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range:
$56,500.00 - $84,800.00
