2. Recess & Copy Room Aide (17 hours per week)

Role Overview

The Recess & Copy Room Aide plays a dual role in supporting school safety and operations by actively supervising students during unstructured times and providing essential clerical support to teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Playground Supervision: Actively monitor students during recess, arrival, and dismissal to maintain a safe, secure environment.
• Behavior Management: Consistently implement school-wide positive behavior supports (PBIS), mediate student disputes, and promote positive social interactions.
• Safety & First Aid: Promptly handle minor injuries and strictly follow school safety and emergency protocols.
• Teacher Support: Efficiently assist teaching staff with daily administrative requests, including high-volume copying and laminating projects.
