KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
1. SALES LEADERSHIP & TARGET ACHIEVEMENT: Lead and manage the sales team with a focus on building and strengthening relationships with Intermediaries to drive AUM growth and achieve sales targets.
2. SALES STRATEGY EXECUTION: Develop strategic sales plan, action plans, and product pipelines to guide and support team members, ensuring alignment and execution to achieve sales growth and KPIs.
3. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: Monitor and evaluate sales performance through Intermediaries, making strategic adjustments as necessary to meet targets effectively.
4. RELATIONSHIP & MARKET PENETRATION: Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and develop product ideas and potential areas for expansion.
5. MARKET INSIGHT & COMPETITIVE FEEDBACK: Provide market insights and feedback to help improve the company products, services and marketing tools, ensuring competitiveness in the industry.
6. SALES GOVERNANCE & FORECASTING: Oversee intermediary due diligence, performance tracking, and sales forecasting. Collaborate with senior leadership to provide recommendations and implement both short and mid-term sales strategies and engagements.
7. TOP-LINE ACCOUNTABILITY: Responsible for market penetration, achieving revenue targets, product promotion, and maintain high engagement with the entire network of stakeholders. Maximizes current period sales volume and broadens the firm’s reach within the marketplace.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) OF THE ROLE:
1. AUM GROWTH & NET FLOWS (PRIMARY KPI): Achievement of specific, measurable quarterly/ annual AUM growth targets.
2. REVENUE TARGET ATTAINMENT: Meeting or exceeding defined revenue and sales volume targets.
3. PARTNER ENGAGEMENT SCORE: Measured by the quality of engagement and relationship strength within the intermediary network.
4. STRATEGIC PLAN ADOPTION RATE (CO-KPI): Successful adoption and execution of the strategic sales plans and marketing campaigns co-created with Strategy Management.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
1. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in any field required, master’s degree is preferred and will be viewed as a significant competitive advantage.
2. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
a. 5-8 years of experience in asset management, mutual fund distribution, or financial advisory business.
b. A deep understanding of Intermediary landscape and investment product knowledge is required.
c. The role mandates a proven track record in driving AUM growth and partner engagement.
