System Engineer
Job Description
Blue Sky is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience to lead programs focused on classified hardware security. The incoming SETA will run multiple performer teams and ensure program timelines are met and results are achieved. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide expertise and assistance to the Government Program Manager in the execution of multiple advanced hardware technology development programs
- Integrate and coordinate program activities with the Program Manager and other government and SETA team members
- Perform detailed task planning and oversee transition progress with a range of DoD partners
- Oversee scheduling of program activity and milestones, and contractor progress
- Lead programmatic and technical discussions to initiate new program concepts
- Demonstrate technical knowledge in designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems and an ability to guide the engineering development of modern hardware systems
Required qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI
- Expertise in Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) design and hardware
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience with a preference towards DoD-compliant program systems engineering processes
- A BA/BS degree
Desired qualifications:
- Advanced STEM degree
- Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DoD hardware systems
- Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management
