Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
- Sourcing in quick manner, to negotiate and recommend competitive suppliers based on Purchase Requisition, to get achievement in quality, price, service and technology.
- Focus on cost by collection of information, benchmark, negotiation and market study.
- Handle Annual Negotiation and fully meet Saving targets.
- Ensure to implement material cost reduction strategy following Aptiv Global and Regional strategy.
- Implement material localization for China/Korea/India plants, to enhance localization rate and meet localization target by all efforts.
- Daily management of documents and contract.
- Maintain and develop Supply base best suitable for Aptiv product lines.
- Ensure supply chain stable by working with plant PCL to avoid any line down issues.
-Manage the interface with other departments.
Major Requirements:
- University graduate or above in engineering/commercial background
- Purchasing experience at least 3 to 5 years in international/Commodity Purchasing
- Proficiency in oral, reading and written English, and ability to communicate in Korean of advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility and communication skill.
- Flexibility to work across time zones and with different cultures.
- Willing to study and work under pressure.
