Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional teams in preparing project cost estimates and proposals for EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Suggestion- Assist in preparing and reviewing electrical one-line diagrams (SLDs) and technical drawings using tools such as AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and RFP requirements under guidance from senior team members.
- Assist in calculating and applying financial incentives and financing options based on program requirements.
- Help create, format, and maintain professional proposals ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support the management of multiple RFPs and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Coordinate with U.S.-based and internal teams to gather required information and ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Ensure all documentation and proposals align with client requirements, technical standards, and internal guidelines, under supervision.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, pricing sheets, and project budgets using Excel and estimation tools.
- Manage multiple proposal deadlines and maintain organized project documentation and version control.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and MS Office tools (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in estimating, proposal preparation, electrical construction, infrastructure projects, or a related field.
- Understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, EV charging infrastructure, and electrical construction concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
- Experience in estimation, material take-offs, BOQ preparation, electrical construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience in renewable energy projects (e.g., EV charging, solar, or similar) is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable communicating directly with U.S.-based customers and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting/design software is preferred.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with EV charging, renewable energy, utility coordination, or permitting processes is an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with international teams and participate in.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
