Tank Supervisor - (EPC2)

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation and erection of double containment (double-walled) tanks and propane storage tanks in line with project requirements and schedule.
• Monitor EPC contractor activities, including tank erection, handling, and heavy lifting operations.
• Follow up on critical and heavy lifting activities, ensuring safe execution and compliance with approved lifting plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality, alignment, and compliance with drawings and procedures.
• Provide technical support during tank erection, welding, insulation, and associated lifting activities.
• Review erection methodologies, lifting plans, and vendor documentation, particularly for specialized tank systems.
• Ensure proper positioning, alignment, and integrity of double-wall tank systems and propane vessels.
• Coordinate closely with HSE teams to ensure safe handling of pressurized and hazardous storage equipment.
• Report progress, risks, and technical issues to PMC management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in mechanical installation or equipment erection within industrial projects.
• Proven experience in double containment (double-walled) tank systems and propane (LPG) storage tanks is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in petrochemical, refinery, or gas storage projects.
• Strong knowledge of tank erection standards, welding, testing, and heavy lifting operations.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards related to storage tanks (API, ASME, etc.) is an advantage.
• PMC experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and site supervision skills.
