Job Description
The Brand Marketing Intern supports the marketing team in executing social media initiatives, brand engagement efforts, and other marketing campaigns across digital platforms. This role provides hands-on experience in content creation, social media execution and management, and both external and internal brand communications, while supporting customer acquisition and retention efforts.
The intern will collaborate with marketing, operations, and franchisees to help strengthen the brand’s online presence, increase audience engagement, and support overall marketing objectives. This role will also assist in developing internal communications that keep teams informed, aligned, and connected to key brand initiatives.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
Monitor social media engagement, comments, messages, and audience interactions to help maintain a positive brand presence.
Assist in tracking and reporting social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth.
Contribute to the creation of multi-format marketing collateral for local marketing and national brand initiatives, including social graphics, print materials, and short-form video.
Support reputation management efforts by monitoring online reviews and customer feedback, and assisting with overall program execution.
Collaborate with marketing team members to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
Assist with email marketing and digital campaigns that support customer engagement and retention initiatives.
Support internal communications by helping draft and refine messaging for company newsletters, key brand announcements, and cross-functional updates.
Help organize marketing assets, content calendars, and campaign schedules.
Review and edit blog content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, voice, messaging standards, SEO best practices, and applicable copyright and content usage requirements.
Pull, analyze, and report on marketing attribution data to measure campaign performance, track lead sources, and provide actionable insights that support marketing strategy and decision-making.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in social media marketing, branding, and digital communications.
Familiarity with major social media platforms and current digital trends.
Basic understanding of social media analytics and engagement metrics.
Strong written communication and creative storytelling skills.
Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or other content creation tools is a plus.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
