Receiving CDL Driver - Night Shift
SHIFT – 4th Shift (Nights)
PAY - $22.05 / hr. plus $2 / hr. Shift Differential
POSITION SUMMARY - Shuttles products and materials and moves trailers between local locations adhering to all food safety and personal safety standards while remaining in compliance with all DOT standards and responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports site by hauling freight and moving trailers to designated locations while shuttling safely, efficiently, and damage free.
- Communicates all issues back to Team Leader.
- Performs a pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection on all equipment each shift. Completes required driving paperwork and communicates all maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
- Complies with all DOT regulations.
- Keeps all trailers clean during each shift to comply with food safety standards.
- Utilizes off duty shuttle time to benefit warehouse process (i.e. moving trailers, sanitation, loading / unloading trucks).
- Unloads shuttle freight and properly rotates stock for FIFO practices.
- Respectfully operates equipment to keep our neighbors happy (i.e. jake brakes).
- Cleans up at end of shift and manages fluid levels for the next operator.
- Strives to achieve team productivity measurements while maintaining a high level of focus to quality and safety.
- Keeps work zones in an audit ready manner.
- Assigned shift attendance is required.
- Ability to work as part of a team and assist fellow employees as needed.
- Performs other warehouse duties as assigned including operation of forklift.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- CDL-A license
- One year of verifiable CDL-A driving
- High School diploma or GED
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's, and general instructions
- Good communication skills are required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Be able to lift 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Push/Pull up to 100 pounds on a routine basis
- Be able to work in extreme heat or cold
