Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a 3D Metrology Inspector (f/m) to join our Quality Industrial & Services department based in Toulouse, France.


You will be part of a team developing the industrialization of engine pylon structures for the A220 aircraft program. As part of the Industrial Quality team, you will be involved in planning, performing, and analyzing complex 3D measurement campaigns aiming at securing hardware and tooling compliance against strict quality specifications.

Your challenges:


  • Perform and analyze complex 3D measurements on structural components and assembly jigs using state-of-the-art systems.
  • Process point cloud data within PolyWorks to deliver comprehensive inspection programs and detailed compliance reports.
  • Act as the metrology focal point, providing expert technical support to both manufacturing and industrialization engineering teams.
  • Coordinate the shopfloor inspection network to harmonize measuring methods and ensure optimal equipment usage.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding control methodology, calibration protocols, and quality traceability.




Your boarding pass:


  • Proven professional experience in industrial metrology or shopfloor 3D inspection workflows.
  • Mandatory and extensive hands-on proficiency with PolyWorks software.
  • Deep operational background with dimensional control hardware: Laser Tracker, Photogrammetry, and CMM equipment.
  • Solid structural understanding of geometric dimensioning, calibration requirements, and quality standards.
  • Technical proficiency in English is required to navigate aerospace engineering documentations and tools.
