Location: Belfast, United Kingdom

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the validation of products arriving at Goods Inwards.
  • Responsible for rejecting non-conforming product back to the supplier.
  • The Incoming Inspector should understand the purpose of Purchase Orders and Certificate of Conformity.
  • Maintain Certificates of Conformity and other relevant documentation received with received items, as required.
  • Liaise cross-functionally, ensuring that quality requirements are understood and maintained.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications and to communicate effectively is essential
  • Will require a working knowledge of ERP
  • Undertake audits to internal audit programmes to ensure compliance to AS9100 and Space standards.
  • Review and improvement of industry practices to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant standards.
  • Plan and execute Quality Investigations using appropriate Quality tools (8D, 3C, etc.)
  • Perform any other related duties, as required, which may include multi-tasking in other on-site manufacturing areas

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of three years experience in Aerospace, Space or defence industry.
  • Level 5 education in relevant subject and / or extensive industry experience.
  • ISO9001 / AS9100 auditing qualification desirable
