Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a dedicated Cost Analyst for the Netherlands entity, performing comprehensive cost accounting tasks focused on month-end and quarter-end closing activities, covering key topics such as E&O/LCNRV, warranty, rebates, and related financial analyses.
- Support inventory audit-related activities, including collaboration with US audit and Netherlands local audit teams, to ensure compliance and effective audit outcomes.
- Ensure accounting records and processes comply with US accounting policies and internal control standards under supervision.
- Support inventory-related matters and facilitate alignment with worldwide cost team practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained in a Big 4 public accounting firm, manufacturing cost accounting, or a combination of both.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP or similar systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical skills and understanding of key financial drivers to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic environment.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
