We are looking for a Quality & Packaging Test Lab Specialist to join our Sint-Niklaas site. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring product quality, safety, and packaging performance by combining QA lab activities and packaging test expertise. Working closely with Quality, R&D, Packaging and Operations teams, you will directly contribute to delivering reliable, compliant, and high-performing products.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will operate at the intersection of quality control and product testing, with ownership of both daily lab operations and packaging validation:
- Manage and execute incoming (IQC) and in-process (IPQC) quality inspections
- Ensure smooth day-to-day lab operations, planning, and efficiency
- Register, track, and prepare test samples, including documentation and photography
- Perform packaging and product testing using mechanical and electronic equipment (ISTA standards)
- Accurately capture and report test and quality data in systems (SAP, databases)
- Investigate and report deviations; follow up with suppliers when needed
- Produce clear test reports and quality documentation with conclusions and recommendations
- Support product modifications through additional testing and measurement activities
- Upload testing data (including ISTA 6) and maintain proper documentation
- Ensure a safe, clean and compliant laboratory environment
- Contribute to 6S culture, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate daily with Quality, Production, Planning, Warehouse and international R&D teams
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Work in full compliance with QHSE, ISO, and internal procedures
- Maintain high standards for safety, environmental performance, and data integrity
- Actively support a zero-risk mindset in lab operations
What You Bring
- Degree or qualification in Laboratory, Chemistry or Technical field
- 3–5+ years of experience in a lab, quality control, or testing environment
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment, testing methods, and data recording
- Strong understanding of materials, product quality, and packaging performance
- Experience with SAP and/or quality/test databases
- Fluency in Dutch and working knowledge of English
