Operator 1 - US

In the role of Operator, you would be located at our Hannibal Manufacturing Center of Excellence.    The operator role is a challenging opportunity for an individual interested in producing a high-quality product that will be used to enrich the lives of others. This role is capable of contributing to all phases of the production process using autonomy, mastery and purpose, and works under direct supervision on standardized duties and tasks using established procedures or written instructions. The ideal candidate will be able to work individually as well as in teams.    Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm or 6:30 am – 3:00 pm   Some overtime scheduled during the week and on Saturdays     Your Key Responsibilities Follow work instructions Operate equipment/tools/machinery to prepare and assemble product Assure product meets all quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Meet production metrics (takt time)  Check and fill out necessary reports, manufacturing orders, scrap, rejects and production times   Required Qualifications High school diploma/GED certificate or equivalent preferred Basic math skills Basic mechanical aptitude Read and comprehend measurements on tape measure Established good attendance record at previous employment Work history does not exceed more than two jobs in the past year   Desired Qualifications Up to three years of related manufacturing experience is preferred Demonstrated knowledge with basic computer systems Willingness to work overtime when needed Willingness to be a cross-functional team member Ability to learn new skills and follow directions Currently assigned to Watlow as a temp agency worker
