Overview:
We are searching for a dedicated Power Electronics Validation Engineer to optimize the power efficiency and battery life of our devices. You will be responsible for profiling power usage, analyzing consumption patterns, and testing power management systems. Your insights will help us build products that deliver maximum performance without compromising on energy efficiency.

Work Experience

 Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on power validation experience in consumer electronics or wearable devices

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct comprehensive power profiling across different device states (e.g., active, idle, sleep).
  • Perform detailed power consumption analysis to identify energy-intensive components and software processes.
  • Test and validate power throttling mechanisms to ensure system stability under heavy workloads and thermal constraints.
  • Utilize power analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters to capture precise electrical measurements.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to optimize power delivery networks and battery management systems.
  • Create detailed power performance reports and assist in defining power budgets for future products.

Required Knowledge & Qualifications: 

  • Strong expertise in power profiling methodologies and tools.
  • Proven experience in conducting deep power consumption analysis on complex electronic systems.
  • Thorough understanding of power throttling concepts and dynamic power management techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as high-precision power analyzers and oscilloscopes.
  • Solid foundation in electrical engineering principles and power electronics design.
