Job Description

Location:

New York, NY

At Condé Nast, our events are more than live experiences — they are cultural moments that bring our brands to life in the real world.

From iconic tentpole franchises to immersive editorial experiences, Condé Nast events sit at the intersection of culture, storytelling, entertainment, luxury, and influence. Produced by the Events Studio — the centralized experiential team within Revenue Marketing — these experiences bring together the people who define culture alongside the partners who champion it, creating moments that only Condé Nast can produce. Working closely with Editorial, Sales, Marketing, and external partners, the team translates Condé Nast’s storytelling and brand authority into experiences that drive both cultural impact and business results.

We are seeking a Manager, Events to support the production of high-profile experiences across Condé Nast’s portfolio of brands. This role will independently lead custom events and sponsor activations while partnering closely with senior Events Studio teammates on flagship tentpole franchises and large-scale experiential programs. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative producer with strong creative instincts, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering best-in-class live experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Custom Events & Sponsor Activations

  • Own end-to-end production for a portfolio of custom events, partner programs, and experiential activations

  • Lead sponsor activations and key work-streams within larger tentpole franchises across the Events Studio

  • Manage event execution from initial kickoff through onsite delivery and post-event wrap

  • Ensure all experiences reflect the creative standards, editorial authority, and cultural relevance of Condé Nast’s brands

Support Event Strategy & Development

  • Partner with Editorial, Revenue, and Marketing teams during the pre-sale and planning process to support event ideation, budgeting, feasibility planning, and production strategy

  • Translate creative concepts into executable production plans, timelines, staffing structures, and budgets

  • Contribute ideas around guest experience, experiential storytelling, programming flow, and production design

Produce Best-in-Class Live Experiences

  • Oversee production logistics including vendor management, contracting, venue operations, talent logistics, run-of-show development, and onsite management

  • Create clear scopes of work, timelines, and communication plans to ensure strong cross-functional alignment

  • Balance creative ambition with thoughtful execution and financial accountability

  • Uphold consistent production standards across budgeting, procurement, staffing, vendor management, and onsite execution

Collaborate Across the Events Studio

  • Work fluidly across brands based on bandwidth, skill set, and expertise — stepping in where your expertise creates the most value

  • Partner closely with Events Studio teammates to support the successful execution of tentpole franchises and custom programs

  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture that prioritizes communication, flexibility, and production excellence

Drive Production Excellence

  • Maintain clear production documentation, timelines, budgets, and reporting across projects

  • Support the continued evolution of team workflows, production standards, and operational processes

  • Participate in post-event recaps and feedback conversations to continuously improve execution across the Events Studio

What Success Looks Like:

  • You deliver culturally resonant experiences that are strategically grounded, creatively ambitious, and exceptionally executed

  • Event concepts translate into clear, cohesive guest experiences that resonate with audiences, partners, and stakeholders

  • Editorial, Revenue, Marketing, and client partners feel informed, aligned, and supported throughout the event lifecycle

  • You contribute to a collaborative Events Studio culture that supports both editorial excellence and Revenue Marketing objectives

  • Events are operationally sound, with strong production planning, clear communication, and seamless onsite execution

  • Internal teams and stakeholders have clarity around event scope, deliverables, and executional responsibilities

  • You help scale thoughtful systems, workflows, and production standards that elevate the broader Events Studio

  • You bring leadership, creative problem-solving, and production expertise that consistently raises the bar for the experiences we produce

Ideal Profile:

  • 5–7 years of experience producing live events, experiential campaigns, media events, festivals, or luxury brand experiences

  • Experience independently managing events or large-scale event work-streams from concept through execution

  • Strong understanding of experiential production within media, entertainment, fashion, luxury, music, or culture-driven brands

  • Excellent organizational, budgeting, and project management skills

  • Strong communicator with experience managing vendors, clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

  • Ability to navigate fast-moving environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong creative instincts and passion for audience experience, storytelling, and live events

  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to flex across brands, teams, and event formats as business needs evolve

The expected base salary range for this position is from $80,000-$90,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.

In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
