Job Description
Primary Purpose
Sample, test, and monitor all equipment covered under our PAA program and adjust as needed. Perform maintenance as needed. Responsible for neutralizing and disposing of any containment liquids and responding to chemical spills and leaks.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor, sample, and test each of our chillers, dip tanks, and all other equipment that is covered by our PAA program and adjust as needed.
- Assist in assembly and maintenance of all PAA system-related equipment (i.e., clearing Ph probes, maintaining spray bares, etc.).
- Conduct daily rounds on all their equipment taking note of any issues, resolving minor issues or repairs, and promptly notifying leadership of any issues that will negatively affect the process.
- Responsible for water distribution throughout the chemical distribution system and adjust as needed.
- Accept delivery of chemicals and will be able to operate the system accordingly.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must certify in 24-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training 29 CFR 1910.120.
- Must pass a respiratory physical/fit test for APR usage.
- Minor plumbing and pipefitting skills preferred.
- Computer and software application skills preferred.
- General maintenance knowledge preferred.
