Applications Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical and inside sales support for biopharma hose and fluid transfer product lines, including product selection, application guidance, and basic troubleshooting Support customers with technical inquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities Serve as a technical support resource for sales teams across the distributor network, assisting with application questions and customer proposals Prepare quotations, product configurations, and supporting technical documentation Participate in customer calls and conduct local customer visits for application reviews, product evaluations, and training Coordinate with sales, engineering, quality, and operations teams to support customer needs and order execution Develop working knowledge of biopharma manufacturing environments, GMP requirements, and relevant industry standards (e.g., USP, ASME BPE) Capture customer and distributor feedback to support continuous improvement of products, tools, and sales processes Qualifications: Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) 0–3 years of experience in a technical, engineering, or customer-facing role Strong interest in technical sales, applications engineering, or customer support Clear written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and grow in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment Ability to travel to domestic channel partners, customers and exhibitions Exposure to biopharma, pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences manufacturing preferred Familiarity with fluid handling components such as hoses, tubing, fittings, or single-use systems preferred Work Environment & Travel Primarily onsite at the Northampton, MA facility Travel requirements are primarily for local region (driving) but will include occasional domestic travel
