About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated team player who has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, polished communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally as well as independently. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking experience within a dynamic and fast-paced FP&A organization and providing critical decision support to leaders across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A Operations - Finance Shared Services, this role will join the India FP&A Operations Shared Services Center (SSC) team and will be responsible for performing various FP&A duties related to balance sheet and cash flow in partnership with Accounting, FP&A, and other key stakeholders. This role will also indirectly report to FP&A Operations leadership based in the US.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with FP&A and Accounting to ensure quality and timeliness of the monthly financial close and reporting

  • Support monthly balance sheet and cash flow statement forecast, areas of focus will include but are not limited to Prepaid Expenses, Accrued Expenses, Capex and Payroll

  • Support variance analyses, including actual vs. forecast and current forecast vs. prior forecast

  • Assist with weekly cash forecast, focusing on AP and Payroll forecast update

  • Work cross functionally with FP&A Operations, Accounting, Procurement, Data Analytics, Treasury, and Technical Accounting teams to ensure reporting and forecast accuracy

  • Leverage system capabilities like Adaptive Planning where possible for forecasting and reporting

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Accounting/Finance experience – 8+ years’ experience in Accounting/Finance area, including financial modeling and variance analysis between forecast and actual

  • Accounting/Finance Knowledge – you have a thorough understanding of Accounting/Finance concepts, especially balance sheet and statement of cash flow

  • Strong attention to detail – must display the highest levels of consistency and accuracy in work

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Shift Time: 5:00pm to 2:00am IST, at least three days per week in Pune office

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working within a SSC supporting a publicly traded multi-national company, preferably a hyper-growth company

  • Prior SaaS industry experience

  • Prior experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Coupa, Snowflake, Tableau or ServiceNow
