
Electrical Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate project feasibility by assessing technology requirements, resource availability, and client demands.

Monitor and track project performance, focusing on the successful completion of short- and long-term objectives.

Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.

Direct and oversee project personnel to ensure timely progress and adherence to budget constraints.

Provide technical guidance and resolve issues to uphold quality, safety, and reliability standards.

Ensure project implementation aligns with design specifications and respond promptly to field condition inquiries.
-
Develop and/or review technical specifications and bid documents for electrical equipment, materials, and construction services.

Manage scheduling and coordination of internal and external resources to meet project milestones.

Oversee preparation and completion of Job Start and Project Closeout documentation.

Support manufacturing processes through the design, specification, procurement, and construction of electrical systems and components.

Develop and manage project agendas, scopes, business requirements, performance criteria, procurement strategies, safety plans, budgets, and timelines to meet project goals and client expectations.

Ensure completion of all punch list items without disrupting client occupancy.

Build and maintain positive client relationships.

Foster collaboration with other on-site disciplines.

Prepare and track RFIs (Requests for Information), ensuring timely responses.

Generate FCNs (Field Change Notices) in accordance with company policy.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
-
Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Project Manager.

Experience with quality control and assurance processes.

Familiarity with budgeting and financial oversight.
-
Knowledge of relevant codes, policies, and standards in electrical engineering.
Licenses and Certifications:
-
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-
May be exposed to loud noises, wet or humid environments, airborne particles, and extreme temperatures based on weather conditions.
