  • Develop and maintain inventory governance standards, controls, and reporting frameworks

  • Partner with warehouse supervision to ensure adherence to inventory control policies

  • Execute MRP monitoring, exception management, and shortage identification

  • Coordinate with Procurement and Operations to proactively mitigate material risks and stockouts

  • Establish and maintain optimal inventory parameters (min/max, safety stock strategies, reorder points)

  • Support long-term demand forecasting and inventory optimization initiatives

  • Interface with suppliers and logistics providers to monitor delivery performance, lead times, and issue resolution

  • Coordinate escalations related to late deliveries, incorrect documentation, or supply risk

  • Track inbound/outbound logistics status and readiness, ensuring alignment with operational priorities

  • Act as the site lead for WMS/SAP enhancements, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Develop and maintain inventory and warehouse performance dashboards and KPIs

  • Drive adoption of digital tools related to material tracking, visibility, and reporting

  • Support system testing, user acceptance, and training coordination (non-operational)

  • Lead structured investigation and resolution of systemic inventory and material flow issues

  • Analyze trends in discrepancies, delays, and errors to identify root causes and corrective actions

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment to improve end-to-end material flow processes

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing and materials management

  • Serve as the primary interface between Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Field Operations

  • Coordinate planning activities for turnarounds, projects, and critical material readiness

  • Support network-level initiatives such as inventory redeployment, slow-moving/obsolete analysis, and asset recovery

  • Provide coordination and analytical support for multi-site inventory initiatives and projects

  • Support planning and reporting for offsite inventory activities, audits, or special projects

  • Explicit Role Boundaries - This role does NOT perform:

  • Physical receipt, inspection, storage, picking, packing, or issuance of materials

  • Loading/unloading of trucks or operation of material handling equipment

  • Cycle counts, physical inventories, or warehouse cleanup activities

  • SAP/WMS transactions tied to material movement execution

  • Preparation of shipping documentation or packaging of materials

  • Direct handling of tools, equipment, or warehouse assets

  • All such activities are exclusively performed by union warehouse personnel

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in materials management, inventory planning, or supply chain coordination

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
