Description

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Be a technical architect and hands-on contributor for complex, enterprise-scale software systems across multiple product lines. 
• Define and promote architectural blueprints, patterns, and standards to improve consistency, quality, and time-to-market. 
• Collaborate with product management, UX, DevOps, and customer success teams to align technical direction with business priorities. 
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. 
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to maintain Infor’s competitive edge. 
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development in collaboration with engineering and executive leadership. 
• Lead architectural reviews, performance tuning, and code quality initiatives. 
• Ensure solutions are cloud-native, secure, scalable, and adhere to compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and backend service architecture 
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native design patterns 
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and deployment automation 
• Strong experience with API design (REST/gRPC) and system integration patterns 
• Solid understanding of data storage technologies (relational and NoSQL) and data modeling 
• Experience with messaging and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka or equivalent) 
• Familiarity with enterprise document management and content processing systems 
• Knowledge of observability practices including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing 
• Exposure to AI/ML applications such as OCR, document classification, and semantic search 
• Strong problem-solving, system design, and technical decision-making skills 
• Ability to influence architecture and engineering direction across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Infor CloudSuite, ION, or Mongoose Framework. 
• Experience designing data-intensive applications using modern data architectures. 
• Open-source projects or published technical articles/conference talks.
