Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Business Systems Analyst (ERP Baan V / Infor LN - Logistics & Warehousing) located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the IT Project Manager, the Business Systems Analyst (ERP Baan V / Infor LN - Logistics & Warehousing), you will be the functional architect for our Baan V / Infor LN Logistics and Warehousing modules. You will lead the design and optimization of end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring seamless data flow between the ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Factory Applications. This role requires a deep understanding of inventory strategies, material flow, and logistics movements in a global manufacturing scale.
What a typical day looks like:
- Logistics SME: Act as the primary functional expert for Baan V / LN modules including Purchase, Sales, Inventory, and Warehousing.
- Process Engineering: Design and implement optimized workflows for receiving, put-away, outbound shipping, and cycle counting, minimizing operational bottlenecks.
- Integration Leadership: Oversee the integration between the ERP logistics modules and external systems (MES, TMS, or 3PL interfaces) to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
- Requirements Management: Lead the elicitation of complex business requirements for warehouse automation and logistics tracking, translating them into high-level functional specifications.
- System Lifecycle: Manage the SDLC for logistics-related enhancements, from initial gap analysis to successful deployment and user stabilization.
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
- Work directly with stakeholders to improve operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity and strategic goals
- Research, design and test new systems and system enhancements in line with the deliverables of site business/customer's requirements.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- Advanced English is Mandatory
- Solid knowledge in ERP
- Advanced SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with .NET and open-source databases (MySQL, Elasticsearch) to support modern factory apps.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of functional concepts and a solid understanding of Flex policies and procedures.
- Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
- Knowledge in SQL, team focus, Desirable knowledge in Jira and confluence.
- Extensive functional experience in Baan V or Infor LN Logistics/Warehousing (e.g., Inbound/Outbound procedures, Warehouse Inspections, Inventory Control, and Material Requirements Planning - MRP).
- Solid understanding of how logistics impacts production lines (Just-in-Time, Kanban, and Line Side Replenishment).
- Expert at mapping complex logistics flows and creating comprehensive playbooks and validation documents.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments, coordinating releases that impact critical supply chain operations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with global teams, managing "Change Leadership" in multicultural enterprise settings.
