Lead Engineer – PLC Programming

Key Responsibilities
• Should be able to propose the conceptual design for functional requirement of the equipment in a cost-effective manner

• Must be able to provide automation architecture for the validated concept using IAB software from Rockwell Automation
• Strong knowledge in Rockwell Automation PLC’s and Drives (SLC, Control Logics, Guard Logix and K5700) / Experience in other PLC’s and drives shall also be considered.
• Strong Programming Exp in RS Logix 500, Rs Logix 5000, Studio 5000 Factory talk View Studio/ Experience in other PLC’s and drives shall also be considered.
• Must have experience in legacy project retrofit activities & Guard Logix programming.
• Have basic knowledge in creation & Maintaining Libraries in ACM from Rockwell Automation
• Perform replacement of obsolete electrical parts by maintaining Form, Fit and Functions of the existing design of the machines
• Perform document creation, Revision, Releasing in Team Centre software.
• Support the team for RFQ and Execution.
• Conduct Kick off meeting with design team and relevant stakeholders of the project.
• Perform self-quality checks and Team QC ensure accuracy and consistency in all deliveries
• Excellent oral & written English communication.
• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with global engineers, mentoring the team on effective communication.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, providing guidance and support.
• Ability to manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery, mentoring the team on project management.
• Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, leading and mentoring the team.
• Effective in executing projects with a small team, ensuring high-quality outcomes, providing leadership and mentorship.

• Must have Motion (Servo) programming experience.
• Must have Hands-on experience in programming for SPM.
• Good understanding of Electrical Safety standards like ISO 13849.
• Must have experience in Leading a team ( Minimum 5 team members ) 
• Must have good working knowledge in SIEMENS TIA, Studio 5000, IAB & Factory Talk view Studio tools
• Excellent Problem solving and analytical skills with ability to understand and upgrade legacy machines.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering /Electrical and Instrumentation /Electronics and Communication)
