NGM - Exploration Geologist

Responsibilities:
Complete and supervise geologic research, data compilation, mapping, sampling, geologic interpretation, 3D modelling, drill program design and execution including RC and core logging. Geologic work
Projects have clear and appropriate decision points that are adhered to, are completed on time and on budget and require minimal supervision by senior staff
QAQC procedures are in place and adhered to
Designs follow-up work plans, prepares and assists in preparation of annual budget materials
Rapidly communicate significant events to senior management
Completes monthly progress reports
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in mining/mineral exploration required
Possess a high level of organization and attention to detail, ability to adapt to changing priorities required
Familiarity with logging diamond core and RC chips preferred
Familiarity with Leapfrog and Acquire software preferred
Basic understanding of software architecture, data storage concepts, and system development methodologies required
