About the role

We are seeking an experienced Socio‑Environmental Manager to lead and grow our Socio‑Environmental business unit in Peru. This role combines strong technical leadership with project management, client relationship management and business development responsibilities across complex multidisciplinary projects.

The Socio‑Environmental Manager acts as a Project Manager for large and complex assignments and serves as Client Manager for key strategic clients, ensuring high‑quality technical delivery, financial performance, safety, and client satisfaction.

This position works closely with the Country Manager, regional managers across Latin America, and multidisciplinary technical teams in Peru, Brazil, Chile and Ecuador.


This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Lead, manage and develop a high‑performing Socio‑Environmental team in Lima, including performance management, workload planning and forecasting

  • Act as Project Manager for complex multidisciplinary socio‑environmental and geoscience projects

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support regional business growth initiatives

  • Promote company services to new and existing clients across the market

  • Prepare high‑quality technical and commercial proposals, including budgets and cost estimates

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and contractual requirements

  • Monitor and manage key financial metrics such as profitability, chargeability and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)

  • Plan and oversee project execution, including work breakdown structures (WBS), scope management and reporting

  • Ensure compliance with socio‑environmental regulations and permitting processes (EIA, MEIA, ITS, closure plans and regulatory submissions)

  • Promote and lead a strong culture of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ), ensuring alignment with Integrated Management Systems (IMS)

  • Collaborate with regional leadership across Latin America to support strategic planning and operational alignment

  • Participate in fieldwork and site visits to support technical and client needs

  • Drive continuous improvement in technical standards, project governance and management practices


We are looking for someone who has:

  • University degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Professional license/certification in good standing.

  • Master’s degree in environmental management or a related field.

  • 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related sectors

  • Strong experience in multidisciplinary project management and team leadership

  • Advanced knowledge of socio‑environmental regulations and permitting processes

  • Proven experience in budgeting, cost estimation and financial management

  • Solid understanding of consulting business models and market dynamics

  • Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software

  • Advanced English proficiency.

  • Portuguese proficiency (desirable).
