The Maintenance Director performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. He or she will maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment; perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Director:

·         Work on the cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.

·         Perform carpentry duties as needed.

·         Paint, plaster and refinish items as needed.

·         Perform heavy duty cleaning.

·         Change screens and storm windows.

·         Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety.

Requirements/Qualifications:

·         HS Diploma or GED

·         1-2 years of relevant experience 

·         Ability to work independently.

·         Ability to make decisions independently.

·         Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
