
Senior Master Data Specialist
Job Description
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Master Data Specialist who will be responsible for managing and ensuring the quality of Retail related master data across systems, while actively contributing to the development of data management practices within the organization.
This role combines hands-on data work, cross-functional coordination, and process improvement, with a significant impact on retail IT systems.
What will you do?
Manage the creation, validation, and maintenance of master data (products, vendors, pricing) in SAP
Own data quality – monitor KPIs, identify issues, and propose improvements
Contribute to defining and enforcing data standards and processes
Collaborate with IT, business teams, and external partners to ensure data integrity
Analyze data issues and ensure timely resolution
Participate in testing activities and development of data management tools
Coordinate activities related to opening new or reconstructed service stations
Lead cutover activities in retail IT transformation projects
Share knowledge, support colleagues, and drive continuous improvement in data processes
What do we expect?
Minimum 6 years of experience in data management or master data-related roles
Experience working with SAP systems
Understanding of data quality, governance, and processes
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data
Detail-oriented, structured, and able to work independently
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across IT and business teams
Good knowledge of MS Excel (data handling, reporting)
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
Advantage if you have experience with Power BI/reporting tools, system testing or implementations, project cutovers, and working in an international or corporate setting

Salary: from 3500 EUR brutto/month. The amount of the wage is the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic component of the wage. The final base salary depends on the individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
