PwC New Zealand is seeking an Insights Manager in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland to lead the day-to-day delivery of our Client Listening Programme.
This role is responsible for managing and revitalising PwC’s structured, independent client feedback programme; ensuring we gather meaningful insights through surveys and face-to-face interviews, translate those insights into actionable findings, and embed them across the firm to strengthen client relationships and drive growth.
This is an operational leadership role. You will run the programme end-to-end, working closely with senior Partners and business leaders. You will report to the Client Experience lead, who retains strategic oversight alongside the Client and Markets Director, while you take accountability for execution and insight delivery.
Success in this role means the Client Listening Programme operates with discipline, credibility and impact and delivers insights that directly inform firm decision-making.
Your day-to-day could include:
Leading the day-to-day delivery of PwC New Zealand’s Client Listening Programme, including senior client interviews, surveys, relationship reviews and win/loss debriefs.
Building momentum and discipline across the face-to-face interview programme while ensuring accurate tracking, reporting and Salesforce data integrity.
Conducting independent, high-quality interviews with senior client stakeholders alongside Partners and Business Development leaders.
Translating qualitative and quantitative feedback into clear, actionable insights and reports for senior stakeholders across the firm.
Identifying client trends, risks, strengths and growth opportunities throughanalysis and reporting.
Presenting findings and recommendations to Partners and business leaders, helping embed client insights into strategic decision-making and client experience initiatives.
Collaborating closely with internal teams, global PwC networks and external research partners to deliver a best-practice client insight programme
Supporting continuous improvement of client listening approaches, incorporating global developments and market-leading practices.

Experience in market research, client insights, or customer/client experience. A behavioural research background is preferable.
Strong qualitative interviewing skills, including confidence engaging with senior stakeholders. You are an active listener.
Ability to independently analyse and interpret both qualitative and short form (pulse) survey data. Able to understand and apply insights from complex survey analysis by specialists.
Excellent written communication skills; able to produce structured, concise, high-quality reports.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly at a senior business level.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and report writing.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work confidently and adaptively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior business development and Partners, building trusted relationships, navigating competing priorities, and tailoring your approach to suit different working styles and business needs.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to deadlines.
