Assistant Manager – Alternative Channels Market Conduct
Job Description
Job Scopes: Market Conduct Oversight: Monitor and review market conduct activities across alternative distribution channels to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Work closely with compliance, legal, sales, and distribution teams to ensure cohesive management of market conduct risks
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Stay abreast of current and upcoming regulatory changes affecting market conduct within the life insurance sector
Communicate changes to relevant teams and ensure policies and practices are updated accordingly
Develop and maintain frameworks for ongoing assessment of market conduct risks within distribution channels
Conduct periodic reviews and audits to identify areas of non-compliance or potential misconduct
Handling customers & clients complain that related to misconduct or any related issue
Training monitoring & Awareness: Support the design and delivery of training programs for distribution teams on market conduct standards and regulatory requirements Reporting & Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports on market conduct assessments, risks, and compliance status for senior management
And maintain accurate documentation of monitoring activities and corrective actions
Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience in market conduct, compliance, risk management, or related roles within the insurance or financial services industry
Prior experience working with distribution channels, especially alternative distribution or Partnership management, is preferred
Strong understanding of insurance regulations, market conduct standards, and compliance requirements
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks applicable to life insurance, such as local insurance laws and international best practices
Excellent analytical skills to assess and monitor risks effectively
Good understanding of distribution channels and sales practices in life insurance
Strong interpersonal skills with high ethical standards and attention to detail
Good English skills for business use
