
Client Service Specialist
Job Description
The Client Service Specialist will:
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and multiple insurance companies
Day-to-day management of client requests, claim activities and the ongoing general administration and maintenance of group client activities
Interact with insurance companies, clients, advisors, and plan members to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services
Independently manage clients' enrollments, terminations, amendments, salary and status changes, including data entry into internal systems
Provide support to Account Managers, including the set-up of new groups, client service and administration
Provide benefit plan administration training for new and existing clients
Assist clients with claims and on-line processing
Coordinate timely preparation and delivery of necessary client materials
Maintain security and confidentiality of client information
To be successful as a Client Service Specialist with Perlinger Group Benefits Inc., you will need:
1-3 years experience in a client service, customer service, office administration, or account coordination role
Excellent administrative and data management skills
Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience working with group benefits, insurance, claims administration, or employee benefits programs is considered an asset.
To be highly organized and self-starting with excellent attention to detail; able to learn new systems and processes
Well-developed relationship-building and communication strengths
Strong problem solving and analytical skills

The base salary for this position is between $55,000 - $60,000 annually.
This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to provide additional details of the total compensation for this role.
