Overview
Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care, Glendive, Montana, starts 06/22/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a long-term care setting. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week with days shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $2,095 to $2,273, commensurate with experience and assignment details. This is a travel temporary assignment in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs aimed at improving communication, cognitive-communication, and/or swallowing function; monitor progress and adjust goals as needed.
- Conduct swallow evaluations and dysphagia management, including texture-modified diets and appropriate safety measures.
- Document assessments, goals, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, dietary, therapy colleagues, and medical staff) to optimize resident outcomes and ensure safe, coordinated care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, maintain patient confidentiality, and participate in quality improvement activities as assigned.

Requirements
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligible to obtain licensure in Montana; ability to practice in a skilled nursing setting.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility is preferred; at minimum, eligibility for state licensure.
- Experience in acute care and/or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work the listed shift (days) and to perform duties in a long-term care environment.
