Position Summary:
The Pricing Analyst will support all aspects of pricing for the North America subsidiary of Straumann Group. This individual will provide important support for DSO customer pricing issues by researching and correcting pricing discrepancies. Responsible for agreement management to ensure our promises to the customer can be supported in our systems including support for tier pricing, tracking, and implementation. Data entry of new DSO discounts. Creation and delivery of formularies. Additionally, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including DSO Loyalty Customer Service, FP&A, Accounting, Product Management, Legal, and Sales.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: - Support the execution of pricing strategies across different business units.
- Analyze new DSO agreements to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product management and finance) to align on strategy and accurately enter and maintain pricing for digital equipment for all customers.
- Create reports on pricing, sales units, and discounts on a regular basis based on Business Unit needs using BI or BW reporting tools (weekly, monthly, and quarterly.) Support customer requested sales history reports.
- Maintain pricing tools and data entry of DSO discounts.
- Monitor pricing policies and guidelines across business units and brands.
- Research and resolve any reporting pricing discrepancies. Resolve reported pricing incidents to solution owning the process to completion.
- Maintain and provide formularies for DSO customers, and support DSO Customer Success teams with ad hoc customer requests.
- Keep an open mind to process improvements. Collaborate with the continuous improvement team to address current inefficiencies.
- Ensure proper pricing maintenance for special customer groups.
- Conduct customer location list vetting to ensure proper master data account maintenance of DSO group rosters, collaborate on these lists with customer service team to ensure timely completion.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Identify, initiate, and support other ad hoc analyses and projects as required.

- At least 3+ years’ experience as financial or pricing analyst.
Preferred Qualifications: - Highly proficient in Excel.
- Very strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Experience working with SAP and BI preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of comfort presenting in front of management.
- Detail oriented and a high aptitude for analytical reasoning.
- Comfortable working with high volumes of data and the ability to identify and summarize key messages.
- Possesses an innovative nature and has a strong desire to learn and enact change.
