A leading global financial institution is seeking a Client Service Officer to join their Japanese Corporate Banking division in Perth. What you'll do:

As a Client Service Officer – Japanese Corporate Banking based in Perth, you will play an integral role in building trustful relationships with Japanese corporate clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve responding swiftly to client requests ranging from account maintenance to complex loan inquiries. You will be instrumental in supporting customers through documentation processes while ensuring every interaction meets the highest standards of professionalism. By collaborating closely with Relationship Managers and other departments, you will contribute to seamless service delivery that exceeds client expectations. Administrative duties such as arranging business trips or managing office supplies will also fall under your remit.   • Respond promptly and accurately to client inquiries regarding account maintenance, information updates, change of signatories, loan and deposit rate requests, KYC support, bank guarantee issuance support, loan drawdown processes, domestic and international remittance assistance.

  • Support customers in completing forms and collecting required documents for various banking transactions while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

  • Identify new business opportunities through effective communication with clients and provide valuable insights to Relationship Managers for business growth.

  • Provide administrative support including ordering stationeries and amenities, assisting with business trip arrangements for team members, coordinating business entertainment activities, visitor access arrangements, and processing expense claims.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices in all aspects of client interactions by prioritising tasks efficiently within a multitasking environment.

  • Collaborate with team members across departments to facilitate smooth operations and successful delivery of services while maintaining a pleasant work atmosphere.

  • Utilise organisational tools such as task lists to manage urgent matters effectively and meet deadlines consistently.

  • Support compliance functions related to travel arrangements, gift management, entertainment coordination, and visitor access control.
