Overview The Director, Retail Data Solutions serves as a senior partner for our Retail clients, driving revenue growth through consultative sales and strategic account management. You will manage a portfolio of approximately 21 accounts totaling about $3M in revenue. You will lead all aspects of complex sales processes with multiple parties. You will collaborate across Epsilon’s Data Strategy, Product, Legal, and Delivery teams to deliver high-value, omni-channel solutions. The Director, Retail Data Solutions will report to the Vice President, Client Growth and requires close partnership with senior-level stakeholders across client Marketing, Digital, Analytics, and C-Suite teams, alongside daily collaboration with internal product, tech, and digital strategy experts to ensure seamless execution. The Principal, Client Leadership is a compelling role that offers high visibility and direct impact within our Retail vertical. You will play a vital role in Epsilon’s growth by evolving client relationships from single-solution engagements into comprehensive, multi-year partnerships. Responsibilities Lead and expand ~21 retail accounts, driving new revenue through renewals and cross-selling data, identity, and analytics solutions. Serve as the executive point-of-contact for C-Suite and marketing leaders, driving discovery, proposals, and contract negotiations. Translate Data into Value: Master executive-level storytelling to present value-based recommendations that directly impact client business goals. Act as the internal lead, partnering with Legal, Product, and Delivery teams to manage data compliance, modeling approvals, and complex service execution. Influence the future of the Retail vertical by contributing to quarterly and annual business plans and providing market feedback to leadership. Qualifications What you’ll bring with you: 8–15 years of enterprise sales experience in data, digital marketing, identity, analytics, or MarTech, with a consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets. A deep understanding of the retail ecosystem (brick-and-mortar and e-commerce) to assess risks, identify growth, and align our solutions with client objectives. A demonstrated ability to "speak data," translating complex assets like identity and analytics into clear, actionable client recommendations. Experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles while coordinating seamlessly across internal delivery and compliance teams. Expertise in multi-channel strategies (digital, TV, and digital-at-home) and their role in a cohesive marketing ecosystem. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
