As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

  • Responsibilities:  

  

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java 

  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured 

  • Validate data using SQL queries and database testing 

  • Execute functional, regression, and integration tests 

  • Identify, log, and track defects 

  • Work closely with developers and QA teams 

  • Mandatory skill sets:  

  

  • Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java 

  • Experience in API testing (REST, JSON) 

  • Good knowledge of SQL and database validation 

  • Familiarity with TestNG / JUnit frameworks 

  • Basic understanding of CI/CD and Git 

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology 
     
    Good to Have  
     

  • Experience with RestAssured framework 

  • Exposure to Jenkins / Azure DevOps 

  • Knowledge of BDD tools (Cucumber) 
     

  • Preferred skill sets:  

  

  • Selenium, Java, API, DB 

  • Years of experience required:  

  

  • 4 to 10 years  

  • Education qualification:  

  

  • BE/B.Tech/MBA/MCA
