Job Description
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of a centralized warehouse that supports multiple markets across Phoenix and Northern Arizona. This role ensures efficient inventory flow, accurate forecasting, and consistent service levels across all locations. The Warehouse Manager owns both execution and strategy—overseeing warehouse operations while optimizing inventory allocation, demand planning, and distribution to support business growth and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Warehouse Operations
Oversee receiving, inspection, and documentation of all inbound inventory
Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance
Manage delivery coordination and warehouse team performance
Maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles
Inventory Management & Distribution
Manage inventory across multiple markets (Phoenix, Flagstaff, Sedona)
Allocate and distribute inventory based on demand trends
Coordinate inter-branch transfers to maintain service levels
Prevent stockouts and excess inventory through proactive management
Forecasting & Planning
Analyze usage trends, seasonality, and growth patterns
Maintain target stock levels (~2 months of forward demand)
Adjust safety stock, reorder points, and purchasing based on demand shifts
Track and optimize key inventory metrics (AWU, AMU, LTD, ROP, TTC)
Inventory Control & Accuracy
Lead cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Ensure accurate tracking of inventory movement
Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner with supply chain, operations, and branch leadership
Support ordering, scheduling, and special order distribution
Communicate inventory strategy and performance across teams
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Train, develop, and lead warehouse personnel
Identify and implement process improvements
Drive efficiency, accuracy, and service-level performance
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Knowledge
5+ years in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments
2+ years in a leadership role managing teams
Experience supporting multi-location or regional operations (preferred)
Strong understanding of inventory management (FIFO, cycle counts, replenishment)
Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Ability to forecast demand and manage inventory strategically
Excellent communication across teams and leadership levels
Highly organized with strong problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in systems like ServiceTitan and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
Ability to work in an active warehouse environment and lift 25–50 lbs
