Full Life Care - Program and Activities Assistants

We are excited to be hiring for an Activities Aide/ Program Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our adult day health program by providing personal care and helping facilitate therapeutic group activities for our clients.

Our Activities and Program Assistants:

  • Build a caring relationship with clients to assist with their needs and goals, collaborating with caregivers and team members to support care plans
  • Maintain care by observing and communicating changes in client condition
  • Promote a safe and healthy environment for the client
  • Promote client independence, guide education, and encourage engagement by leading activities that clients enjoy
  • Support a respectful and engaging group environment
  • Monitor participation in activities and provide support as needed
  • Assist with kitchen duties such as meal prep, food service, and dishwashing
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a health or social services setting is a plus, but not required
  • Completion of HIV/AIDS information course (can be completed after hire)
  • Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
  • Completion of a background check, drug screen. Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Must be able to assist clients with mobility support
