Job Description

What you’ll do:

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company.  We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027.  The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices.  If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Support development and maintenance of Procurement functional learning frameworks, covering areas such as:
 
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
Supplier Relationship & Performance Management
Cost Modeling, Should‑Costing & TCO
Negotiation & Contracting
Price Change, Surcharge & Cost Recovery
Procurement Compliance & Ethics Execute the learning & development components of MG SCM talent system by standardizing onboarding guidance,enabling career aligned learning pathways & deploying targeted development levers (including the procurement bootcamp) for high performing & critcal role talent. Metrics- Onboarding guidelines completion for MG Procurement roles (Goal 100% for Mobility Procurement Organization with Spend $1.3Bn 30+ direct & 100+ shared employees across global organization) Procurement Bootcamps twice annualy. (#cohorts delivered/#Planned)
SCM required learning programs -10+ complying to Global SCM Policies
 
Map learning content to procurement roles and proficiency levels (Buyer, Analyst, Category Manager, etc.). Learning Deployment & Execution
 
Support rollout of functional training programs, workshops, and certification initiatives.
Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, communications, and participant tracking.
Support onboarding learning plans for new SCM hires and role transitions. Governance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure adherence to SCM learning governance and standards.
Collect feedback and continuously improve learning content and delivery methods.
Support audits or leadership reviews related to functional capability development
CAPEX Planning & Tracking (Spend in Scope $9Mn Annual)
 
Support annual CAPEX budgeting and forecasting activities.
Track CAPEX spend vs approved budget at project, plant, and business level.
Monitor project milestones, spend phasing, and cash flow alignment.
Maintain CAPEX trackers for new requests, approvals, commitments, and actuals.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Prepare monthly CAPEX reports highlighting spend, variances, and risks.
Support ROI, payback, and justification analysis for CAPEX requests.
Provide management dashboards for decision‑making and reviews.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to CAPEX approval thresholds, policies, and controls.
Validate documentation such as:Business cases
Approval workflows
Project justifications
Support internal audits and finance reviews related to capital spend.
 
 
 

Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in:
 
Procurement / Sourcing / SCM roles, or
Functional learning / capability development within procurement CSCP/CPSM preferred 4-6 years of experience in:
 
CAPEX analysis
Financial planning
Operations / plant support roles
 
 
Manufacturing or global procurement environment preferred
