The Role

Reconciliations Analyst – Insurance Solutions

Blue Owl Insurance Solutions (BOIS) is seeking a Reconciliations Analyst to join its Operations team located in Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality operational support and client service to both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage competing priorities, and consistently meets tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize work effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Perform daily maintenance, recordkeeping, and reconciliation of client trades, holdings, and cash activity within BlackRock Aladdin against custodian records.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex investment data and reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure the timely resolution of data, reporting, and system-related issues.
  • Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of operational procedures.
  • Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly audit and control activities as required.
  • Participate in technology enhancement and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support operational excellence through continuous monitoring of reconciliation and reporting processes.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience within the financial services industry.
  • Experience with BlackRock Aladdin is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Working knowledge of financial markets and investment products, including fixed income, private credit, and equities.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution-oriented attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with business leaders.
  • Demonstrated success delivering results under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this Chicago based position will be $75,000-80,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
