Job Description
Pay Range: $17.08 – $22.45/hour (based on experience)

- Be alert and active in supporting facility's commitment to safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents' rights.
- Communicate with residents and/or family members, if required regarding the progress of resident.
- Model leadership to other team members in all job duties and communication skills.
- Will answer resident requests and team questions outside of typical business hours. Must be able to effectively honor resident requests by delegating on site team members to correct services.
- Communicate with team members and Resident Services Director throughout the shift to ensure all resident cares are completed.
- Assist residents in activities and support as needed, such as but not limited to; bathing, dressing, eating, medication reminders as prescribed in the plan of care; assist with other home care tasks as instructed.
- Document and monitor all progress and changes in any residents’ health, medical condition and care provided and communicate promptly with supervisor.
- Provide treatments and documentation as ordered by the physician.
- Accurately track time spent while doing resident services and report it to ensure proper billing is accomplished.
- Clean resident rooms and common areas in accordance with the cleaning schedule at a high standard.
- Will be required to be a part of the on-call rotation to fill open shifts as determined by the Resident Services Director.
- Provide assistance and support to Resident Services Director and Resident Care Coordinator as appropriate or assigned.
- Required: South Dakota Medication Aide License
- Experience in senior living or long-term care (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull 60 lbs, and carry 15 lbs with two hands
- Dependable transportation and flexibility to work varying hours
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Professional demeanor, clear background check, negative drug test and current health screening including TB clearance
