Job Description

NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY| QUALITY ENGINEER

AGUA PRIETA, SON

As Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for Directs Quality Techs and Engineers in operating within area of assigned responsibilities. Represents the quality function of technical support, in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing processes and customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates all assigned personnel to ensures reporting to the position are trained.
• Defines, develops and implements Quality Engineering strategies, which contribute to the campus strategic directions.
• Develops and maintains QA plans and timeliness of global new product Introductions utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization specific to the customer.
• Provides support for all activities of the initial process design, development, and implementation phases.
• Evaluates and provides input to inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.
• Reviews internal, and customer claims, coordinate containments and track the effectiveness of corrective/proactive action efforts.
• Conducts periodic review and maintenance of all EOL & inspection data ; develops appropriate systems for storage and access.
• Interfaces with all departments as a Cross functional Team member.
• Assists in driving the standardization of manufacturing processes.
• Interfaces and provides technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.

Skills

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Experience Requirements

• +4 years years of experience in quality in the automotive industry with knowledge in harness processes, embroidery, manual welding and assembly.
• Management of statistical tools, troubleshooting techniques, IATF16949 Quality Systems, ISO14001, CoreTools, Lean Manufacturing Tools,
• Advanced English
