About the Role

The Customer Excellence Coordinator works within the Fuel Supply & Midstream (FS&M) and Mobility & Convenience (M&C) Sales team to execute the customer strategy. It is an interactive and fast-paced first level position in Sales with broad access to various parts of the business. The position is vital in effectively contributing to the selling of branded and unbranded fuel by managing operational execution of existing customer base, assisting in business development execution and support of new account generation. This role works across multiple customer channels, with cross-functional bp teams and external customers in direct support of executing the Sales strategy: goal of winning versus our competitors through process sustainability, customer operational excellence, and executing brand and customer growth strategies across all channels of trade.
Key Accountabilities
Manage customer contractual commitments by utilizing the CLM process for tracking, monitoring, contract execution, and preparing reports as necessary.
Coordinate customer setup requests in SAP and Salesforce across teams, defining process, timelines, customer data, and deliverables for successful execution.
Managing sales operations to support Sales Managers and customers, including handling supply messages, terminal moves, and resolving customer operational needs like supply or billing issues.
Serve as the primary point of contact and strengthen customer relationship management by focusing on marketing initiatives, delivery of offers, volume demand forecasting, and delivering operational excellence.
Take proactive steps to improve processes in collaboration with Sales and other M&C/FS&M departments—such as Legal, Marketing, Finance, Supply, and FBT—to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
Accountable for verifying adherence to internal control policies and established delegation procedures, while ensuring compliance with data policies and governance standards.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Required
3+ years of experience with roles supporting Sales, Supply, Marketing and/or finance organizations.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Proven record of project management and/or coordination experience.
Experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and Big Data Analytics a plus.
Proficient in understanding contractual terms a plus.
Customer facing experience of 3+ years; preferably to North America customers
Skills & Competencies
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Proven record of project management and/or coordination experience
Knowledge of big Data Analytics, Power BI, and reporting
English fluency in speech and writing

Comfortable to support US Shift 5:30pm to 2:30am IST
